nargisi kofta
Ingredients:
For the Kofta
- 6 eggs (4 hard-boiled 2 raw)
- 500g minced meat (lamb or beaf)
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 green chillies.(finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
- 1 tbsp mint leaves
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tbs garam masala
- salt to taste
- 2tbsp roasted garam flour or breadcrumbs
- oil for deep frying
- 2 medium onion
- 1 tomato (pureed)
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tbs termeric powder
- 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tbsp garam masala
- salt to taste
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1/2 cup yougurt beaten
- Fresh coriander for garnish
- Boil for eggs,peel and set aside
- In a mixing bowl ,combine minced meat ,choped onion,green chillies,ginger garlic paste ,coriander mint ,chilli powder, garam masala. salt ,gram flour and 2 raw eggs mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 4 portion .Flatten each portion and wrap around a boiled egg ,sealing compeletly to boiled an oval shape.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat
- Gently placed the wrapped egg (kofta into the oil)
- Fry until golden brown andcrisp on all sides (about 6-8) minutes
- Remove and drain on paper towels
Its a royal dish ,perfect for a special meal .Dont forget to slice one in half too show off that beautiful layered look .
