Chinese Rice

 Chinese rice can prefer to a few different depending on context ,but most commonly it means chinese-style fried rice or rice used in chinese cuisine.

  • Chinese Fried Rice:
This popular dish is  typically made :

  1. Cooked rice (usually leftover and chilled)
  2. EggsVegeatables (peas,carrots and scallions)
  3. Protein (like chicken , pork etc)
  4. Soya sauce ,oyestr sauce .
  5. Optional: garlic ginger and chili for extra flavor



Simple Recipe:
  • Scrambles eggs and set aside
  • Stir -fry vegeatables or protein in a vok or large pan.
  • Add cooled cocked rice and mix througly
  • Add sauce and stir-fry until everything is heated through
  • Returns  egg to the pan ,mix and serve.
Energy Sauce:
  • Rich in carbonhydrates ,rice is a great source of energy ,making it  staple for billion around the world.
  • Especially useful for physically active people or those needing energy sustained throughout the day.
Low in fat :
  1. Plain steamed rice is very low in fat and cholesterol free making it heart friendly when heated is moderation.
Cooked:
  • If u dont have day old-rice cook rice and spred it on baking sheet to  cool.Cold rice work best because its less sticky.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of vegeatbale oil in large skillet and wokover medium high-heat .Pour in the betten eggs,scramble until cook through  and then remove fromthe pan .Set aside.
  • In the same pan ,add another spoon of oil.
  • Stir in the ferozen peas and carrots and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the  cold. Cooled rice to the pan .Breakupany clumps and stir  everything together.
  • Drizzle the soya sauce over the rice,then add salt ,pepper and sesane oil .
  • Add the cooked egg back to the pan and stir to combine
  • Once everything is heated through ,remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
  • Serve hot as a side dish or main course .You can also add cooked rotein like shrimp,chicken or porkif desiered.
