Types of Chocolate:

  1. Dark:
  • Contain coca solids,cocoa butter and solids.
  • Typically has a higher cocoa content (usually 50 to 90%)
  • Known for its bitter taste,less sugar etc.
2.Milk Choclate:
  • Contain cocoa solids,cocoa butter ,sugar or milk (in powder or liquid form).
  • Creamier and sweeter dark than chocolate due to the milk and added sugar.
  • Typically has a cocoa content 10 to 50%.
3.White Chocolate:
  • Made from chocolate cocoa,butter and sugar but does not contain cocoa solids.
  • Its sweeter and creamy but lacks the characteristics  coca flavor for dark and liquid chocolate.
4.Ruby Chocolate:
  • A realtivily new type of chocolate ,made from specially red cocoa beans.
  • Its has a berry-like flavor and a pinkish -red color.

  • Roasting:The dried beans are roasted at various temperature to bring out the flavor and aroma.
